Identity check
Before a helper can take on any job, they scan their ID and take a selfie through an accredited verification service. No verified identity, no jobs.
Letting someone into your loved one's home takes trust. So we check that every helper is a real, identified person , we hold your money until you say the visit happened, and we are straight with you about where that stops.

We are honest about what a check can and cannot tell you. We make sure a helper is who they say they are and that the money is safe. Whether they are the right person for your mum or dad is a judgement only you can make, so we give you what you need to make it.
Identity checked against an ID document and a selfie, and payouts tied to a bank account in their own name.
What you pay sits with us until you confirm the visit happened. Cancel before the helper clocks in and you get all of it back.
You read profiles and reviews and choose who comes. Nobody is assigned to you, and you can report or block anyone at any point.

Felvo is a platform, not an agency. We verify who someone is and give you the tools to judge the rest yourself. Here is exactly where that line sits.

Helpers link a UK bank account before they can be paid. Payouts only ever go to that account, never to anyone else.
Clocking in only works within 250 metres of the address. You see the arrival and leaving time, and nobody is paid until you confirm.
After every visit both sides leave a review. You read them on a helper's profile before you choose anyone.
You can report or block someone straight from the chat. We look at every report and remove accounts that do not belong here.
Helpers can upload a DBS certificate, a first aid certificate or a driving licence. We check the document ourselves before it shows on their profile, so you can look for it if it matters to you.
No medication, no personal care, no nursing. Practical and social help only, and that boundary is in our terms.
Felvo offers practical and social help. No medical care. That boundary is clear to everyone: to your loved one, to the helper and to you.
Does your loved one need medical care or nursing? Then bring in home care or your GP. We're happy to help you find the right route.
If something here is unclear, email us and we'll answer honestly, including the things we don't do. Posting a request is free and commits you to nothing.
